Ing Mire Caravan Park is a new acquisition by Hanley Caravans. Currently improvements are underway to the park which consists of pitches for both static leisure homes and touring caravans. There will be a new development of lodges on the site which is awaiting planning permission. Pony trekking, tennis courts and a nine hole golf course are available locally. Leisurely walks or engergetic hikes on the Howgill Fells can start and finish in the Sedburgh area and provide a variety of challenges both for novices and the more experienced walkers. The delightful market town of Sedbergh is an easy stroll from Pinfold Leisure Park. It has many good quality shops including a small supermarket and excellent pubs among the quaint old streets and alleyways. Ing Mire Caravan Park is only 5 miles from Junction 5 of the M6 motorway making it an ideal place to explore the surrounding countryside and other attractions of Cumbria and North Lancashire and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. The Park is open from 4th February to 4th January each year

A little about Sedbergh


Sedbergh is a delightful old fashioned market town with quality shops and pubs nestled amongst its quaint old streets. Sedbergh is located at the foot of the stunning Howgill Fells where the River Rawthey flows by on its way to meet the River Lune. Shopping is available locally in Sedbergh or alternatively the major towns and cities of Kendal, Penrith, Lancaster and Carlisle are only a short drive away. Sedbergh is an ideal place from which to explore the spectacular local countryside as well as the ancient villages and towns of the region. The area provides a variety of walks on the fells which can provide a challenge for both novice and experienced walker alike.


Pinfold Caravan Park

Pinfold Leisure Park is a small, picturesque leisure park nestling on a valley floor surrounded by imposing beautiful Howgill Fells. On one side of the park it is bounded by the River Rawthey that babbles away to join the River Lune. The location of the park is unique and idyllic and offers a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Pinfold Leisure Park consists of leisure homes, a spectacular secluded wood clad lodge development called the Howgills and also a separate private area designed especially for tourers and tents. Amongst the modern facilities provided at Pinfold Leisure Park are a new purpose built shower and toilet block with hot & cold water, showers, shaver and hair dryer points. Full laundry facilities are available on site as is a washing up room, chemical disposal point and calor and camping gas. The park also benefits from a regular mobile shop and daily milk deliveries.The Park is open from 4th February to 4th January each year

Summerville Leisure Park is a small secluded park situated in a quiet residential area near the centre of town. The promenade, main shopping centre, markets and supermarkets are only a 10 minute walk from the Leisure park. The park benefits from a local shop and bus stop only minutes away. Buses go to the town centre, West End, the village of Heysham and nearby city of Lancaster. Close to Summerville Leisure Park located in the centre of the town is the new cinema, The Superbowl, the Stone Jetty, the library and large doctors surgery. In the West End there ia large park offering tennis courts and bowling greens which host a number of annual competitions.
